How To Check West African Examinations Council (WAEC) 2022 May/June WASSCE Results

This is to inform all the Secondary School Candidates that participated in the 2022 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) that they can now check their results online.

According to the examination body, a total of 1,222,505 candidates, amounting to 76.36 per cent of the 1,601,047 candidates that successfully sat the examination, obtained credits and above in a minimum of five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics

How to Check WAEC result via SMS

According to the examination body, candidates can send the following to short-code 32327:
WAEC*ExamNumber*ExamCardPIN*ExamYear

For Example: WAEC*4201001001*123456789012*2022

Note:

• There should be no space in the message.
• Wait for your result to be delivered to your phone via SMS. (SMS Cost N30 Only)

How to Check WAEC Result Online

You don’t need to purchase any scratch card/pin to access your result. Candidates are to check the Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination for their Result Checker PIN and Serial Number.

• Go to WAEC 2021 result checking portal at https://www.waecdirect.org
• Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.
• Select your Examination Year i.e. 2022.
• Select your Examination Type i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
• Enter the Card Serial Number.
• Enter the Card PIN.
• Finally, click “Submit” button to get your 2022 WAEC Result.

NB: The WAEC result scratch card allows for 5 uses only on the examination number.
