This is to notify the general public that the University of Nigeria (UNN) Post-UTME/admission screening for admission into the University Degree Programmes for the 2021/2022 Academic Session is out on sale.




UNN reschedules Post-UTME screening exercise for 2021/2022 session


The University of Nigeria wishes to inform candidates who made UNN their first-choice institution in the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that, owing to compelling logistic reasons, the screening exercise earlier scheduled to commence from Monday, January 17, 2022, will now take place as follows.

Day 1: Tuesday, January 25, 2022
  • Faculty of Agriculture
  • Faculty of Arts
  • Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences
  • Faculty of Biological Sciences
  • Faculty of Business Administration

Day 2: Wednesday, January 26, 2022
  • Faculty of Dentistry
  • Faculty of Education
  • Faculty of Vocational and Technical Education
  • Faculty of Environmental Studies
  • Faculty of Physical Sciences
  • Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
  • Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Day 3: Thursday, January 27, 2022
  • Faculty of Health Science & Technology
  • Faculty of Engineering

Day 4: Friday, January 28, 2022
  • Faculty of Medical Sciences
  • Faculty of Law

Day 5: Saturday, January 29, 2022
  • Faculty of the Social Sciences
  • Mop-Up
  • Direct Entry Candidates


The portal is still open to enable eligible candidates who have not registered to do so.

A detailed timetable and venues for the screening exercise will be released shortly.

University Of Nigeria (UNN) Post UTME Screening Form For 2021/2022 Academic Session


Updated: This is to inform all PUTME candidates that the registration exercise earlier scheduled to end on Saturday 20th November 2021 has been extended till Saturday 11th December 2021.

This is to enable all prospective students to register and also enable those who made changes to UNN to register successfully.
Kindly note that all candidates must endeavour to register for the examination as there will be no opportunity to register during the screening examination


The University of Nigeria (UNN) hereby invites candidates who made UNN their first-choice institution in the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 160 and above for the screening exercise.

A. Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only) through Remita Platform at any Commercial bank.

B. The online registration commences on Friday, October 15, 2021, and ends on Saturday, December 11th, 2021.

C. Process Flow for Post-UTME Registration
i. Log on to the University Website: www.unn.edu.ng
ii. Click on UNN portal (Top right corner of the Website)
iii. Click Prospective Students
iv. Select Online Application Form for 2021/2022 Admission Screening Exercise
v. Enter JAMB Registration Number
vi. Generate Invoice
vii. Proceed to the bank for Payment or pay using your ATM Card
viii. Return to Portal
ix. Re-enter JAMB Registration Number
x. Complete Date of Birth and all other blank fields
xi. Enter O/Level Subjects and Grades (also provide your Centre and Examination Number. Note: Awaiting Results candidates should list their SSCE subjects)
xii. Re-enter your grades correctly
xiii. Upload Certificates (Ensure that their sizes are not above 100KB)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Local Government Identification
  • Testimonial
  • First School Leaving Certificate
  • JAMB Result Slip
  • O/Level 1
  • O/Level 2 (For double sitting candidates)

xiv. Click the NEXT button
xv. Review Summary Page and check that all details entered are correct
xvi. Check the CONFIRMATION BOX below
xvii. Click SUBMIT
xviii. Print Acknowledgement Slip.

D. DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES FOR 2021/2022 WHO MADE UNN THEIR FIRST CHOICE INSTITUTION SHOULD ALSO REGISTER FOR THE SCREENING.
