About University of Winnipeg President's 2024 Scholarship

Introducing the Graduate President's Scholarship for World Leaders, awarded to international students embarking on their inaugural University of Winnipeg graduate program. Candidates with a minimum 80% admission average, or its equivalent, and a proven record of leadership activities are eligible. Please note that Qualifying Year or Pre-Masters students are not eligible for this scholarship.

The President's Scholarships for World Leaders for Graduate Students at the University of Winnipeg carry a value of $5,000.

University of Winnipeg President's 2024 Scholarship Eligibility

To be considered for the University of Winnipeg President’s Scholarship, you must:

• Have a minimum 80% admission average or equivalent
• Be an international student
• Entering the first year of any program
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities
• Submit a complete admission application by the scholarship deadline date.

Qualifying year or Pre-Masters students do not qualify.

How to Apply for the University of Winnipeg President's 2024 Scholarship

Applicants must have completed an application for admission to the University of Winnipeg to be considered for this award.

• A completed application package includes the following:
• A completed application form.
• One 250-500 word personal statement
• A curriculum vitae
• Two references who can speak to your extra-curricular/volunteer activities
