About UNESCO-Nestlé Youth Impact

The UNESCO-Nestlé Youth Impact Programme is a global initiative aimed at supporting young leaders who are passionate about environmental sustainability and climate action. This programme provides financial grants, mentorship, and training to help youth-led projects create meaningful change in their communities.

The initiative was designed to empower innovative, youth-driven solutions in areas such as climate change mitigation, sustainable food systems, regenerative agriculture, and packaging sustainability. By fostering leadership and entrepreneurship, UNESCO and Nestlé seek to amplify the impact of young changemakers across the world.

Building on the success of its pilot phase in Latin America, which benefited 20 young leaders and positively impacted over 130,000 people, the programme has now expanded globally, offering 100 grants of $8,500 each to selected participants across different UNESCO regions.

Through this initiative, UNESCO and Nestlé are investing in the future of sustainability by equipping young people with the resources, skills, and network to drive long-term environmental solutions.
