A young Nigerian lady identified as Abisola Osoko-Fabunmi has bagged a PhD in Marketing at the age of 27 from Covenant University.

Taking to her LinkedIn page to make the disclosure, Abisola said she emerged as the best PhD student in Marketing with a CGPA of 4.83.

In her words:
"Last week Friday, I was awarded a PhD degree in Marketing with specialization in Brand Equity, Customer Loyalty, and Customer Relationship Management. I emerged the best Phd student in Marketing with a CGPA of 4.83."

In her words:
"I have always wanted to go further and be better. I’m sincerely thankful for the privilege." According to the young lady, the secret to emerging as the best PhD student in Marketing was networking and teamwork.

She said:
"PhD to me is not an individual journey. I’m grateful to my family, supervisors, senior colleagues, academic mentors and friends that supported me on the journey. I did not achieve this alone." Contrary to opinion that people who do well academically don't have a social life, Abisola said such is not the case for her.

In her words:
"Yes, I have an active social life. I play a lot. My immediate friends can testify to this."

Congratulations are in order
