FUTO Students,staff Avoid School Entrance Over Juju Scare

Students and staff of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri(FUTO) on Tuesday avoided the main entrance of their school over a fetish object dumped at the entrance of their school.
Most of them a reliable source from the school told us took alternative routes to the school to avoid the objects.


According to the source, one of the host communities of the school which has been at loggerheads with the school allegedly had dumped a coffin and some palm fronds at the school gate to register a warning to the school management to steer clear from their land.


The community the source revealed has been battling the school for a long time over a vast piece of land it alleged belonged to them and purportedly grabbed by the institution.
“We woke up this morning to see that thing there,we do not know who placed it there but some people have told us that it is one of those communities in dispute with the school over the school’s land. The source said.

However,Public Relation Officer of the school,Mrs Uche Nwelue when contacted said she’s is not at the school premises to know about the development.
