Four Atlantic Hall Students Bag Cambridge Awards Modified: 16th January, 2025 • Latest
Four students of Atlantic Hall, Epe, Lagos, have bagged the Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards. The Atlantic Hall Educational Trust Council said in a statement on Tuesday that the school received “notification from the British Council of the successful recipients of individual student Achievement Awards in respect of Cambridge Assessment & International Education (CAIE) IGCSE Examination Sitting 2018-19 Session.” It gave the names of the award-winning students as Oluwabukunmi Oluwaseye Onasanya; Akhigbe Anthony Ehiagwina; Danielle Miriam Ainodion; and Oluwatomisin Toluwani Adeyemi. Onasanya, Ehiagwina and Ainodion were adjudged the three best students in Nigeria in single subject – First Language English (Oral Endorsement), June 2019; Business Studies, November 2018; and Economics, November 2018 respectively. Adeyemi emerged the “Best (student) Across Eight Subjects” and also bagged the “Music – High Achievement Award, November 2018.” The statement quoted the Board of Trustees and Management of Atlantic Hall as expressing delight at the development, saying they were proud of the award-winning students. “The entire Atlantic Hall community is celebrating with pride in recognising the outstanding achievements of the above-mentioned students for their academic excellence and acumen. “Atlantic Hall is renowned for academic excellence and high achievement which these awards endorse as well as producing well-rounded students who will also demonstrate the leadership qualities to succeed and make a mark in a rapidly changing and complex world. “The above students and their families will be officially recognised at a Special Awards Evening to be held in due course in Lagos,” the statement said.
