Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda Notice To Staff And Students On Resumption For Academic Activities

The Management at its Special meeting held on Monday 28th December, 2020 considered the Circular from the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation Ref. No. HCSF3065/Vol.1/147 dated 22 December, 2020 with regards to second wave of corona virus infections in Nigeria and decided as follows:


I. That all staff on salary GL 12 (CONTEDISS 11& below) are hereby directed to stay at home for a period of 5 weeks, effective from Wednesday 23 December, 2020 and await further directive.

II. That the affected staff are expected to perform their duties at home and are not expected to travel out of their station without approval from the Management.

III. That all officers on GL 13 and above are to ensure adherence to other preventive measures including the maintenance of physical distancing, regular washing and/or sanitizing of hands, wearing of face masks and minimizing the receipt of the number of visitors.

IV. That all staff on essential duties (Medical Staff, Works & Services, Secretaries to and other staff of Principal Officers, etc) are to report to their respective offices every working day (Mondays to Fridays).

V. The new resumption date for all students is Monday 18 January, 2020.

VI. That all Academic Staff irrespective of their grade levels are to report back as soon as the School reopened.
