FCM Foundation Scholarship 2025 Eligibility

To be considered for the FCM Undergraduate Learning Support Programme, you must:

• 100 level female Muslim undergraduates
• Full-time student at the University of Lagos, Akoka, or Lagos State University, Ojo
• Between 16 and 19 years old
• Have a minimum of six credit passes in SSCE in one sitting
• Scored a minimum of 250 in the last UTME taken before admission
• Physically, mentally and psychologically stable
• Good moral conduct and leadership abilities.

Required Documents 1. JAMB Admission Letter

• Proof of admission into a full-time undergraduate program at an eligible Nigerian university.

2. Evidence of Current Studentship

• Student ID card or a biodata form from the institution confirming enrollment.

3. Reference Letter

• A letter from a reputable Islamic organization, excluding student-based organizations, vouching for the applicant's character.
• The letter must be on official letterheaded paper and addressed to: The Executive Director, First Class Muslim Foundation, Lagos, Nigeria.

4. Birth Certificate or Age Affidavit

• Official documentation verifying the applicant’s date of birth.

5. Original WAEC Result

• Certified copy of the applicant’s Senior Secondary Certificate Examination results.

6. Original UTME Result

• Evidence of achieving a minimum UTME score of 250.
  

7. Current Academic Result Slip (if applicable)

• For students with GPA results, a copy showing the latest academic performance.

8. Personal Statement

• A 300-word statement detailing why the applicant deserves the scholarship.
• Must follow these formatting guidelines:

• The applicant’s full name should appear at the top.
• The use of AI tools for writing or editing the personal statement is strictly prohibited.
