Institutions Eligible for Ekiti State Government Scholarship

Students in Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, Schools of Nursing/Midwifery, and Colleges of Health Technology can apply.

Eligibility Requirements for Ekiti State Government Scholarship
To be eligible for the Ekiti State Government Scholarship and Bursary, applicants must meet the following conditions:

A: SCHOLARSHIP

• Must be in at least their second year of study at a tertiary institution.
• Must have a minimum of five credits (including English and Mathematics) in WASSCE or NECO.
• University students should have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 or Second Class Upper; Polytechnic students should have a CGPA of 3.5.
• Master’s and PhD applicants must have a minimum of Second Class Upper for their Bachelor’s degree. PhD applicants must also have a distinction in their Master’s program.
• Physically challenged students in tertiary institutions are also eligible for the Handicapped Scholarship.
• Part-time and Sandwich students are not eligible.

B: BURSARY

• All undergraduates and students from Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, Schools of Nursing/Midwifery, and Colleges of Health Technology are eligible.
