Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible:
- Citizen or refugee of an eligible Commonwealth country
- Permanent resident in an eligible Commonwealth country
- Available to start studies in the UK by September 2024
- Hold a first degree of at least upper second-class honors standard or a relevant postgraduate qualification by September 2024
- Not have studied/worked for more than one academic year in a high-income country
- Unable to afford UK study without this scholarship
- Provide all supporting documentation

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Benefits

- Monthly stipend: £1,347 or £1,652 for those in the London metropolitan area
- Warm clothing allowance
- Thesis grant

- Contribution towards mandatory TB test

How to Apply for Commonwealth Shared Scholarship

1. Applications are open for the 2024/25 academic year until December 14, 2023.
2. Use the CSC’s online application system exclusively.
3. Apply for an approved Master’s course at a participating UK university.
4. Research and choose a university course, applying for admission separately.
5. Apply early due to high demand.
6. After applications close, universities will nominate candidates to the CSC in March 2024.
