OYENIRAN APATA captured her mood.

Twenty-three-year-old Oluwaseun Adebimpe Adeyeye emerged as the Best Overall Graduate student at the 13th Convocation of the Bells University of Technology (BELLSTECH), Ota, Ogun State.

Adeyeye, a female and graduate of Electrical Electronics from the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering, made 4.90 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) to emerge as the overall best student for the session.

She attended John Mackey Primary School and Ataoja School of Science, both in Osogbo, Osun State.

“I studied Electrical Electronics Engineering at the Bells University of Technology and I am very passionate about education.”

Adebimpe lauded the support of her father, Mr. Adebayo Johnson as her supporter.

“He always ensures I take my school work seriously and do my assignments to perfection. I remembered days when he would go out and buy for me different textbooks and dictionaries as gifts,” Adebimpe said.

Besides, she acknowledged the roles played by Dr. Adebayo Oluwatosin and Dr. (Mrs.) Funmilola Oluwatosin, saying their impacts in her academic pursuit, finances and words of encouragement gave quality directions to the glorious outcome of her stay at the university.

Speaking about her passion for electrical electronics, Adebimpe said, “I was fascinated with electronic appliances because they were so impressive that I never thought there was anything more sophisticated.

“I would usually ask questions about how they function, which is the major interest that influenced my choice of course at the university,” she said.

She added, “As an undergraduate, I was not confined to only my curricular activities; I engaged in various activities like internships, conferences, and other leadership positions.”
