Explanation
Ogeyi is a very bold and honest girl. She demonstrates this when she stands out as a crusader for social justice. She exposes Chief Ade-Amaka's anti-social behaviours. She reports him to the police regarding his affair with Aloho which leads to Aloho's death. She seeks redress in court as a prosecution witness against Chief Ade-Amaka who is finally jailed. When Aloho gets pregnant and contemplates aborting the pregnancy, Ogeyi dissuades her, advising her to deliver the baby. She stands by Aloho in all her travails, supporting her to return to her family and have her baby. It is due to Ogeyi's persistence that Aloho escapes being tagged a murderer. it is also the information she gives to the police that brings Chief Ade-Amaka to book.
