Federal Electoral Commission (FEDECO) was the commission that was set up to handle the elections in the Second Republic. It conducted the general elections of 1979 and 1983 . The chairman of FEDECO that conducted the 1979 elections was Mr Michael Ani. while in 1983. FEDECO chairman was Justice Victor Ovie-Whiskey.
