Metamorphosis is the series of changes of forms of an insect from the fertilized egg to adult.
There are two types of metamorphosis: complete metamorphosis and incomplete metamorphosis.omplete metamorphosis involves four stages: eggs \(\rightarrow\) larva \(\rightarrow\) pupa \(\rightarrow\) adultxamples of insects which undergo complete metamorphosis are housefly, bees, beetles, wasp and butterfly.
Incomplete metamorphosis involves three stages:
