Explanation
(a) There was a wedding in Cana in Galilee in which Jesus and his mother were invited. When the wine they had finished, Jesus' mother called his attention to it, but Jesus replied: " 0 woman, what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come". However, Jesus told them to fill the six empty jars that were there with water. Mary then told the servants to do whatever Jesus asked them to do. Jesus told them to draw the water to the steward of the feast. The steward tasted the water which had turned into wine. The steward questioned the bridegroom why he had kept the good wine only to bring it after the people had been drunk with the sour wine.
(b) The Miracle had the following lessons to teach (I) The glory of Jesus was revealed and his disciples believed in him. (ii) Jesus is ready at anytime to help those in need. (iii) Jesus had respect for his parents. (iv) Jesus is ready to save people in distress or danger
