Celestial Church of Christ is an indigenous church. It was formed by S.B.J Oshoffa. Other indigenous churches in Nigeria include Christ A postolic Church formed by Joseph Ayo Babalola. Cherubim and Seraphim Church formed by Moses Orimolade. Indigenous churches were churches by Nigerians which sprang up from the orthodox churches brought by the Europeans (inissionary churches).
