Displacement power of halogens is in the order \(F > Cl\) \(Br > T\).
It means fluorine will displace chlorine which will in turn displace bromine, on like that.
When chlorine is bubbled into potassium iodide solution, iodine will be displaced. This manifests by appearance of dark blue colouration which is the colour of iodine.
