Explanation
Selective re-absorption of all the glucose, amino acids, vitamins, hormones and about \(80 \%\) of the sodium chloride and water occurs in the proximal convoluted tubule. Ultrafiltration (or filtration under pressure) takes place in the glomerulus of the renal corpuscle (malpighian body). In the descending loop of Henle, water is reabsorbed from the tubule; in the ascending loop, sodium, potassium chloride and other ions are actively reabsorbed from the tubule. The distal convoluted tubule is involved in tubular secretion and also play a role in osmoregulation \& maintaining blood \(pH\)
