(iv) Minerals: composition: Sodium, Calcium, phosphorous, Magnesium etc. Sources: Bone meal, oystershell, limestone, synthetic minerals, salt licks etc. Functions: Bone, teeth, eggshell formation and development, constituent of blood, acid-base balance.
